Disclaimer: Stryfe does not belong to me, but in his Eighteenth Permutation Insanity guise he DOES belong in my Damned Time and Dammed Time arc… and so does this poem. :) Enjoy.
Moebius Time
by Dyce
It's far too late to help me now,
I'm lost
beyond redemption.
No joy nor love can touch my heart,
Hope in permanent
suspension.
To save me now must doom me then,
To kill me then dooms
every now,
Back and forth and around again,
Where's the when and who's
the how.
You say you want to help me but,
You're far too soon too far
too late,
Futurepast is too soon for me,
And pastfuture much too long to
wait.
Would you travel into
never
Was-would-be-when-already-gone.
Back and forth, around about,
will
You go? And undo what's been done?
I live, and die, and live
again,
Around and 'round and 'round I go,
Living a Moebius' loop,
And
will I stop? I do not know.
And yet, it may be possible,
To find the
circle's single end,
To find the corner of the loop, and pull,
And all
futures thereby might amend.
Not now, but then, in future past,
When I
will one day have been was,
Innocent enough and young, you
Could save me
then, to your good cause.
To live I must die, in dying,
Do I live again,
forever,
Never resting never slowing,
Hanging myself by chaos'
tether.
Save me, or save yourself, it will
All have going to be the
same.
For my sins we all must suffer,
And die in one another's name.
